Safety of MYHA athletes is paramount to us and USA Hockey on and off the ice. Through SafeSport we will protect our kid’s from physical, sexual, and any other type of abuse and maintain a safe and fun environment this season.
As an MYHA parent please take the time to review USA Hockey's SafeSport Program Handbook located the following link https://portal.usahockey.com/forms/usah-safesport-handbook.pdf. Then, talk to your kids to help them understand what bullying, harassment, hazing, and sexual/physical/emotional abuse is and how serious these issues are.
To decrease the risk for abuse and/or misconduct MYHA has strengthened USA Hockey’s mobile device policy. Cell phones, laptops, IPads or mobile devices with recording capabilities such as still cameras and video cameras is prohibited in locker rooms, changing areas, and by players participating in any on-ice or off-ice session. This policy is applicable to players of all ages and parents/family members/guardians.
Again, through the USA Hockey SafeSport Program, MYHA is dedicated to creating the safest possible environment for our kids to play this great sport. For Safesport questions contact our President Dave Brocato (firstname.lastname@example.org) or any board member listed under the "About", then board tab at the top of the page.
Shreveport clinics are now complete. If you were unable to make it, you have till December 31st to travel to another market to complete your clinic. USA Hockey does not allow clinics to be taught after December 31, 2019, so this requirement must be completed by then or you will not be eligible to coach after that date.
For questions contact our USA Hockey Coach Developer, Dave Brocato (email@example.com).

Adults....Have you always wanted to try to play ice hockey?
You may know the game like Gretzky, Kane, Crosby, Ovechkin or Benn, but none of us skate like them. Put your skills and knowledge to the test and come join in on the fun, exercise, and laughter in our Adult League.
We need everyone 18+ that wants to join in on the action and get some exercise in the greatest sports venue Shreveport/Bossier has to offer.
We would like to have two divisions in the Adult League- Advanced and Beginners. The beginners league will only happen if YOU SIGN UP but be sure to leave your ego at home...because your kids will get hours of laughter at your expense.
ADULT LEAGUE is $500 and you can pay in full or we will have a 5 payment plan option. Go to the Registration tab above and join.
