LEARN 2 SKATE (L2S)

Registration is open on the registration page.  Sessions are on Sundays and Thursdays, starting August 28 and ending September 18.  Check out our calendar for specific L2S dates and times. 

Session assignments are sent by email once registration closes.  Younger skaters are typically assigned to Group #1 with an earlier start time.  Older skaters are typically assigned to Group #2 with a later start time.  Activities are based on age & developmental level, so skaters are encouraged to attend the session to which they are assigned.  This also allows us to maintain the best coach-to-skater ratio.  If unable to attend the assigned session, please respond to the assignment email and/or let the Volunteer Coordinator know upon check-in on 8/28.  Unless otherwise requested, siblings are assigned to the same group.

Recommended for Ages 5 and up

USA Hockey will be conducting Level 1-4 coaching clinics virtually again this season.  To find, and register for a USA Hockey CEP certification clinic CLICK HERE.

If clinics are full check back periodically as additional clinics will be posted as the season progresses.  All clinics must be completed by December 31st 2025.

MYHA is an all-volunteer organization, and we can always use extra hands.  How can you help?  We have three areas: coaches, on-ice volunteers, and off-ice volunteers.  You can help as much or as little as you like. 

No experience?  No problem, as none is required.  MYHA’s staff along with USA Hockey will ensure you find the training you need for the area you’re interested in.

Prerequisites:  USA Hockey registration and Learn 2 Play graduation

Ages:  5 to 18 years old (age group based on child’s age on December 31st, 2025)
